KEMP Technologies is launching what it says is the first server load-balancing appliance specifically designed for Microsoft Exchange 2010. It comes preconfigured and ready to deploy.
Dubbed the LoadMaster Exchange (LM-Exchange), the pre-configured box is ready for instant redundancy and high availability of mission-critical Exchange 2010 services, according to KEMP. Aimed at servicing businesses with up to 250 users, the load balancer was designed to handle the unique needs of Exchange, while eliminating complex deployments. Small enterprises can deploy the solution in less than five minutes, KEMP said.
LM-Exchange also supports up to 13 virtual services and six physical servers, and is optimized to work with the most commonly deployed Exchange 2010 server roles. Tech specs are available on the press release or LM-Exchange’s glamour page.
LM-Exchange is available now at an MSRP of PLEASE CALL, which includes first-year hardware maintenance and support. Partners interested should check in here. Even amid myriad virtualization, hosted and cloud offerings, these on-premise solutions still have real channel play.
