KEMP Technologies Expands with New European Headquarters
Growth in application delivery market prompts new office in Germany
Hannover, Germany – September 22, 2008 – KEMP Technologies, a leading provider of affordable server load balancers and application delivery controllers, today announced the opening of its new European headquarters in Hanover, Germany. To satisfy growing customer demand, the office will handle sales, marketing, and technical support for the region. This announcement is the latest example of KEMP’s expanding global presence and success in the application delivery market for small-to-medium businesses (SMBs).
“Our new European office answers the growing need for user support in the region as well as improved overall efficiency,” said Kevin Mahon, CEO of KEMP Technologies. “Expansion outside of the U.S. is a natural extension of the continued growth we are seeing in the market, particularly for SMBs. We look forward to giving the European SMB market affordable application delivery solutions necessary for them to compete in the marketplace.”
With several partners and customers in this region already, KEMP is now poised for further growth in the European SMB market. Current customers and partners include MR SYSTEME, Brainforce, Getech, Deutsche Post AG, Toshiba Europe, Burda Digitale Systeme, DFB Medien and Hapimag AG. “We are very encouraged to see KEMP strengthening their local presence with this new office, and continuing our partnership with them,” said Henning Meyer, CEO of MR SYSTEME. “Their new office will help to strengthen partner relationships while creating additional business opportunities in the region.”
This announcement follows KEMP’s recent announcement of all appliances to include data optimization and additional security features, including intrusion prevention system (IPS), compression and caching.
