One of the issues confronting larger businesses with numerous users in several locations has been the ability to balance the server load of multiple users. Microsoft Exchange 2010 was designed to help with scalable, high-demand utilities and Kemp Technologies has developed a new product geared specifically for use with Microsoft Exchange.
The new LoadMaster Exchange, along with Microsoft Exchange 2010 can operate efficiently with businesses with up to 250 users at one time. The hardware and software has been designed to help balance loads for collaboration and communications among several users at once, without overloading the platform, possibly leading to a crash.
The issue for many businesses has been the ability to connect numerous off-site users without overloading the servers to which they are connected. Additionally, when more than one server was connected it could cause a slow down in traffic, hindering the company’s users from connecting with each other, hindering their communication ability.
In addition to reducing the potential for slow downs, LoadMaster Exchange has the potential to support up to six physical servers and 13 virtual servers and is delivered pre-configured for the most common Exchange 2010 server positions. Working with communications, the exchange can be used with Outlook, Outlook Anywhere, active Sync and Outlook Web Access immediately after connecting without needing any additional configuration. It also provides client access and other exchange services that are critical to communications between the business and clients as well as with decentralized users throughout the company, regardless of the location.
The LoadMaster Exchange products were designed to be user friendly and to provide redundancy and availability in about five minutes, providing almost instant access to the products services. In addition to Kemp Technologies’ new LoadMaster, its other load balancing products have been developed and approved by Microsoft’s qualification program designed to insure the products work with Microsoft’s Exchange Server 2010 without problems.
